RULES & PARADE APPLICATION

If you plan to participate in the parade, please fill out the form on this page, read the rules, and sign. We’re excited for you to be part of the "World’s Shortest St. Paddy’s Day Parade"!

Due to limited space, we are unable to accept every entry. Parade entries will be selected based on originality, entertainment value, and adherence to the parade rules. If your entry is not selected, we encourage you to apply again next year!

The primary contact for each entry must sign the parade application and be responsible for the conduct of all participants.

  • Parade entry registration must be in writing and submitted by 5 pm on March 1, 2025.

  • Political campaigning is strictly prohibited during the parade.

  • All Performing Groups not on a float must be preceded by a banner, carried by at least two people, announcing the name of the group.

  • Each entry should be entertaining, energetic, original, and unusual.

  • All float entries must be approved by the parade committee based on a photo or rough drawing submitted with the parade application.

FLOAT PRIZE – 50/50 CASH AWARD!

A special prize will be awarded to the most creative and entertaining float! The winner will receive a 50/50 cash prize, with half of the winnings going to the float creator. We strongly encourage winners to donate the other half to the local food bank to help support our community. It’s a chance to celebrate your win while spreading a little extra luck to those in need!

  • The use prior to and/or possession during the parade of any alcoholic beverage by any unit/entry member is strictly forbidden. If a Parade Committee Member observes behavior that may be related to alcohol consumption, that unit will be disqualified from participation.

  • Participants riding in vehicles or trailers must provide their own vehicles and drivers. Insurance and liability are the sole responsibility of participants.

  • Parade participants are expected to conduct themselves in a courteous and safe manner.

These rules are subject to change on short notice. Advance notice will be given appropriately. Failure to comply with the parade rules will result in unit members or entire unit (entry) removal from the parade (even if in progress) and/or future participation banning. Failure to follow the 2025 rules may cause exclusion from participation in all future parades.

Please remember, this is a family-friendly event for all ages.

The parade will start at 3 pm on March 16, 2025. All registered marchers must arrive ONE HOUR early to line up.
